Adpat Counselling & Therapist Mindfulness Counselling

    Welcome to Adapt Counselling

I’m Juliet Hopkins, a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and EMDR Practitioner with a broad background in therapy. My integrative approach combines three core methods:

Person-Centred Therapy, which is non-directive and founded on the belief that everyone has inherent value and the potential for personal growth.

Psychodynamic Therapy, which examines how both conscious and unconscious psychological forces influence our personality, behaviour, and attitudes.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), employing various techniques, including mindfulness, to help you make informed decisions and reach your goals.

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling (Level 7) from the University of Wales, Newport, a BSc Honours in Behavioural Sciences, and a Diploma in Alcohol and Drug Counselling.

As an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP (Accred), I adhere to their professional and ethical standards.

I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and I am bound by BACP’s code of ethics.

With extensive experience across different counselling settings, I offer support to both adults and young people. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential service to clients.

You can find my practice at The Well Counselling and Therapy Centre, 1st Floor, 18A Dunraven Place, Bridgend, CF31 1JD.
